European Parliament JURI Committee confirmed opinion committee assignments for the EU Inc proposal. ECON Committee appointed Aurore Lalucq as opinion rapporteur, and EMPL Committee appointed Johan Danielsson, while BUDG Committee declined to give an opinion. Pascal Canfin was designated as Renew shadow rapporteur.

The Council of the EU scheduled the ninth Working Party on Company Law session to continue technical examination of the EU Inc proposal. Additional sessions are scheduled for June 25 and July 2, 2026.

The Council Working Party on Company Law held its session examining Articles 35 to 58 of the EU Inc proposal, covering the formation and governance chapter. The session included participation from the European Parliament's Employment Committee (EMPL), addressing the politically sensitive issues of codetermination and worker board representation.
The 28th Regime Progress Tracker (citing Council agenda CM-3040/26)→EU Inc (známé také jako 28. režim nebo S.EU) je nová celoevropská forma společnosti navržená Evropskou komisí 18. března 2026. Vytváří jednotný právní rámec, který podnikatelům umožňuje zaregistrovat jednu společnost a působit ve všech 27 členských státech EU – bez nutnosti zakládat samostatné subjekty v každé zemi.
Dnes startup expandující ze Švédska do Německa potřebuje nový právní subjekt, místního notáře a měsíce papírování. EU Inc toto vše odstraňuje. Jedna registrace, jeden soubor pravidel, jedna společnost – v celé Evropě. Přímo konkuruje americkému modelu Delaware, který byli evropští zakladatelé nuceni používat.
