European Parliament JURI Committee confirmed opinion committee assignments for the EU Inc proposal. ECON Committee appointed Aurore Lalucq as opinion rapporteur, and EMPL Committee appointed Johan Danielsson, while BUDG Committee declined to give an opinion. Pascal Canfin was designated as Renew shadow rapporteur.

The Council of the EU scheduled the ninth Working Party on Company Law session to continue technical examination of the EU Inc proposal. Additional sessions are scheduled for June 25 and July 2, 2026.

The Council Working Party on Company Law held its session examining Articles 35 to 58 of the EU Inc proposal, covering the formation and governance chapter. The session included participation from the European Parliament's Employment Committee (EMPL), addressing the politically sensitive issues of codetermination and worker board representation.
The 28th Regime Progress Tracker (citing Council agenda CM-3040/26)→EU Inc (også kaldet det 28. regime eller S.EU) er en ny paneuropæisk selskabsform foreslået af Europa-Kommissionen den 18. marts 2026. Den skaber en fælles juridisk ramme, der lader iværksættere registrere ét selskab og operere i alle 27 EU-medlemslande – uden at skulle oprette separate enheder i hvert land.
I dag har en startup, der udvider fra Sverige til Tyskland, brug for en ny juridisk enhed, en lokal notar og måneders papirarbejde. EU Inc fjerner alt det. Én registrering, ét sæt regler, ét selskab – i hele Europa. Det udfordrer direkte den amerikanske Delaware-model, som europæiske stiftere har været tvunget til at bruge.
