[June 17, 2026]
European Parliament JURI Committee confirmed opinion committee assignments for the EU Inc proposal. ECON Committee appointed Aurore Lalucq as opinion rapporteur, and EMPL Committee appointed Johan Danielsson, while BUDG Committee declined to give an opinion. Pascal Canfin was designated as Renew shadow rapporteur.
The 28th Regime Tracker (EU)→[June 17, 2026]
The Council of the EU scheduled the ninth Working Party on Company Law session to continue technical examination of the EU Inc proposal. Additional sessions are scheduled for June 25 and July 2, 2026.
Council of the European Union→[June 11, 2026]
The Council Working Party on Company Law held its session examining Articles 35 to 58 of the EU Inc proposal, covering the formation and governance chapter. The session included participation from the European Parliament's Employment Committee (EMPL), addressing the politically sensitive issues of codetermination and worker board representation.
The 28th Regime Progress Tracker (citing Council agenda CM-3040/26)→EU Inc (tunnetaan myös nimillä 28. järjestelmä tai S.EU) on uusi yleiseurooppalainen yhtiömuoto, jonka Euroopan komissio esitti 18. maaliskuuta 2026. Se luo yhtenäisen oikeudellisen kehyksen, joka mahdollistaa yrittäjien rekisteröidä yhden yhtiön ja toimia kaikissa 27 EU-jäsenvaltiossa – ilman erillisiä oikeushenkilöitä jokaisessa maassa.
Nykyään Ruotsista Saksaan laajentuva startup tarvitsee uuden oikeushenkilön, paikallisen notaarin ja kuukausien paperityöt. EU Inc poistaa kaiken tämän. Yksi rekisteröinti, yksi säännöstö, yksi yhtiö – koko Euroopassa. Se haastaa suoraan Yhdysvaltojen Delaware-mallin, jota eurooppalaiset perustajat ovat joutuneet käyttämään.
