European Parliament JURI Committee confirmed opinion committee assignments for the EU Inc proposal. ECON Committee appointed Aurore Lalucq as opinion rapporteur, and EMPL Committee appointed Johan Danielsson, while BUDG Committee declined to give an opinion. Pascal Canfin was designated as Renew shadow rapporteur.

The Council of the EU scheduled the ninth Working Party on Company Law session to continue technical examination of the EU Inc proposal. Additional sessions are scheduled for June 25 and July 2, 2026.

The Council Working Party on Company Law held its session examining Articles 35 to 58 of the EU Inc proposal, covering the formation and governance chapter. The session included participation from the European Parliament's Employment Committee (EMPL), addressing the politically sensitive issues of codetermination and worker board representation.
The 28th Regime Progress Tracker (citing Council agenda CM-3040/26)→EU Inc (pazīstams arī kā 28. režīms vai S.EU) ir jauna Eiropas mēroga uzņēmuma forma, ko Eiropas Komisija ierosināja 2026. gada 18. martā. Tā rada vienotu tiesisko ietvaru, kas ļauj uzņēmējiem reģistrēt vienu uzņēmumu un darboties visās 27 ES dalībvalstīs – bez nepieciešamības veidot atsevišķas juridiskās personas katrā valstī.
Šodien jaunuzņēmumam, kas paplašinās no Zviedrijas uz Vāciju, ir nepieciešama jauna juridiskā persona, vietējais notārs un mēnešiem ilga birokrātija. EU Inc to visu novērš. Viena reģistrācija, viens noteikumu kopums, viens uzņēmums – visā Eiropā. Tas tieši izaicina ASV Delaware modeli, ko Eiropas dibinātāji bija spiesti izmantot.
