European Parliament JURI Committee confirmed opinion committee assignments for the EU Inc proposal. ECON Committee appointed Aurore Lalucq as opinion rapporteur, and EMPL Committee appointed Johan Danielsson, while BUDG Committee declined to give an opinion. Pascal Canfin was designated as Renew shadow rapporteur.
The 28th Regime Tracker (EU)→[June 17, 2026]
The Council of the EU scheduled the ninth Working Party on Company Law session to continue technical examination of the EU Inc proposal. Additional sessions are scheduled for June 25 and July 2, 2026.

The Council Working Party on Company Law held its session examining Articles 35 to 58 of the EU Inc proposal, covering the formation and governance chapter. The session included participation from the European Parliament's Employment Committee (EMPL), addressing the politically sensitive issues of codetermination and worker board representation.
The 28th Regime Progress Tracker (citing Council agenda CM-3040/26)→EU Inc (ook wel het 28e regime of S.EU genoemd) is een nieuwe pan-Europese bedrijfsvorm, voorgesteld door de Europese Commissie op 18 maart 2026. Het creëert één juridisch kader waarmee ondernemers één bedrijf kunnen oprichten en in alle 27 EU-lidstaten kunnen opereren – zonder aparte entiteiten in elk land.
Vandaag de dag heeft een startup die van Nederland naar Duitsland uitbreidt een nieuwe juridische entiteit nodig, een lokale notaris en maanden papierwerk. EU Inc maakt dat overbodig. Eén registratie, één regelgevend kader, één bedrijf – in heel Europa. Het daagt het Amerikaanse Delaware-model rechtstreeks uit, dat Europese oprichters tot nu toe moesten gebruiken.
