European Parliament JURI Committee confirmed opinion committee assignments for the EU Inc proposal. ECON Committee appointed Aurore Lalucq as opinion rapporteur, and EMPL Committee appointed Johan Danielsson, while BUDG Committee declined to give an opinion. Pascal Canfin was designated as Renew shadow rapporteur.

The Council of the EU scheduled the ninth Working Party on Company Law session to continue technical examination of the EU Inc proposal. Additional sessions are scheduled for June 25 and July 2, 2026.

The Council Working Party on Company Law held its session examining Articles 35 to 58 of the EU Inc proposal, covering the formation and governance chapter. The session included participation from the European Parliament's Employment Committee (EMPL), addressing the politically sensitive issues of codetermination and worker board representation.
The 28th Regime Progress Tracker (citing Council agenda CM-3040/26)→EU Inc (även kallat det 28:e regelverket eller S.EU) är en ny paneuropeisk bolagsform föreslagen av EU-kommissionen den 18 mars 2026. Den skapar ett enda juridiskt ramverk som låter företagare registrera ett bolag och verka i alla 27 EU-medlemsstater – utan separata enheter i varje land.
Idag behöver en startup som expanderar från Sverige till Tyskland en ny juridisk enhet, en lokal notarie och månader av pappersarbete. EU Inc är tänkt att kapa det till ett frivilligt EU-ramverk, en regelbok och en betydligt enklare gränsöverskridande struktur. Det är EU:s tydligaste svar hittills på Delaware-dragningen för europeiska grundare.
