European Parliament JURI Committee confirmed opinion committee assignments for the EU Inc proposal. ECON Committee appointed Aurore Lalucq as opinion rapporteur, and EMPL Committee appointed Johan Danielsson, while BUDG Committee declined to give an opinion. Pascal Canfin was designated as Renew shadow rapporteur.

The Council of the EU scheduled the ninth Working Party on Company Law session to continue technical examination of the EU Inc proposal. Additional sessions are scheduled for June 25 and July 2, 2026.

The Council Working Party on Company Law held its session examining Articles 35 to 58 of the EU Inc proposal, covering the formation and governance chapter. The session included participation from the European Parliament's Employment Committee (EMPL), addressing the politically sensitive issues of codetermination and worker board representation.
The 28th Regime Progress Tracker (citing Council agenda CM-3040/26)→EU Inc (auch als 28. Regime oder S.EU bekannt) ist eine neue paneuropäische Unternehmensform, die von der Europäischen Kommission am 18. März 2026 vorgeschlagen wurde. Sie schafft einen einheitlichen Rechtsrahmen, mit dem Unternehmer ein einziges Unternehmen gründen und in allen 27 EU-Mitgliedstaaten tätig werden können – ohne separate Gesellschaften in jedem Land.
Heute braucht ein Startup, das von Deutschland nach Frankreich expandiert, eine neue Rechtseinheit, einen lokalen Notar und monatelangen Papierkram. EU Inc macht das überflüssig. Eine Registrierung, ein Regelwerk, ein Unternehmen – in ganz Europa. Es fordert das US-amerikanische Delaware-Modell direkt heraus, das europäische Gründer bisher nutzen mussten.
